If you’re excited by this role, <strong>we encourage you to apply!</strong></p></div><h3><strong>The role</strong></h3> <p>This role sits within the Financial Control team, who are responsible for the month-end close, preparation of financial accounts (to GL level,) and play a key role in the delivery of audits. Reporting into the Finance manager, you will be a newly / nearly qualified accountant with experience in delivering month-end activities such as accruals, prepayments, payroll and performing balance sheet reconciliations.</p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <h3><strong>What excites you&nbsp;</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Preparing monthly journals such as accruals, prepayments, leases and payroll across all entities. Collaborating with other teams, including AP, tax, payroll and management reporting, ensuring smooth end-to-end financial processes.</li> <li>Ownership of key balance sheet accounts, ensuring reconciliations are completed monthly and any variances are resolved on a timely basis</li> <li>Provide P&amp;L variance analysis and commentary for key cost areas&nbsp;</li> <li>Assist with the annual audits in preparation and provide the requested documents</li> <li>Preparing VAT returns</li> <li>Supporting the Finance Manager / Group Financial Controller as required</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <h3><strong>What excites us&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></h3> <ul> <li>ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or nearly qualified with several years of industry experience</li> <li>Proven experience in a management accountant role</li> <li>Intermediate Excel / Google Sheet skills</li> <li>Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving solving and communication skills</li> <li>Strong understanding of basic accounting concepts.</li> <li>Experience with multi-currency balance sheet reconciliations</li> <li>Ability to produce accurate work and consistently deliver to reporting deadlines</li> <li>Knowledge
