You will work in teams delivering the newest and most innovative features serving our customers in the best way possible</span><span data-path-to-node="2,5"><sup class="superscript"></sup></span><span data-path-to-node="2,6">.</span> </p> <p data-path-to-node="2">In this role, you will focus specifically on our Subscriptions experience, building and optimizing the Android features that drive our premium tiers and unlock value for millions of users.</p> <p data-path-to-node="2"><span class=" font-standard text-18 md:text-20 leading-text font-normal tracking-normal">Our cross-functional teams are passionate about collaboration and sharing knowledge, as well as working with a high degree of autonomy.</span></p> <p data-path-to-node="2"><span class=" font-standard text-18 md:text-20 leading-text font-normal tracking-normal">As an Android Engineer at N26, you will be encouraged to embrace the latest technological updates and given a platform to work on complex, interesting problems on a daily basis.</span></p> <p><strong>In this role, you will:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Build and release new features to increase our premium subscriptions.</p> </li> <li> <p>You will proactively work on improving the Android tech stack and ensure high quality standards</p> </li> <li> <p>Participate in the N26 Android community, facilitating cross team collaboration</p> </li> <li> <p>Work with Product, customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and build the right products and solutions</p> </li> <li> <p>Mentor and support other team members and also learn from them</p> </li> <li> <p>Expand and develop your Android knowledge, skills, and technology expertise</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>What you need to be successful:</strong></p> <p><strong>Skills: </strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Demonstrate deep knowledge and understanding of the Android platform.</p> </li> <li> <p>The ability to showcase your experiences with a variety of Android frameworks.</p> </li> <li> <p>Great communication skills and familiarity with Agile development.</p> </li> <li> <p>Deep knowledge in Kotlin, knowledge of Java</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience in driving technical projects from beginning to end.</p> </li> <li> <p>Full professional proficiency in English.</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Traits:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Good communication skills and a sense of ownership, with a systematic problem-solving approach</p> </li> <li> <p>Proactiveness, collaboration and eagerness to learn</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>What’s in it for you:</strong>
